Since I am not working again today. I will be putting in some time trying to get my buisness up and running. Well sort of. I crochet and I have 1 afghan for sale right now. But I have 2 more that I am trying to get done for me then I can make more to put up for sale. I had 12 up for sale but then I donated 11 of them to women's and children's home for Yule last year. But anyways, I got a website on freewebs and it has a store page. So I will try and work with them and if it doesn't go so well then I will transfer over to ebay. I really don't want to sell on ebay though. They are kind of ridcules with the fees.

I also have to clean house. That is the never ending chore.... LOL! I think that I am going to make spaghetti for dinner tonight. I already have the hamberger cooked from a meal earlier in the week. I love making the best use of my resources as I can. I will be useing some of the flylady principles today to help get the basement (dungeon) cleaned. 15 minutes at a time. It should look company ready in just a short time.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about the garden that I will be putting in this year. I think that I will put in a plot on the side of the house and also put tomato plants in 5 gallon containers and line the walk way up to the house. I might even put in a raised bed in my front yard... Now won't that get the neighbors talking..... LOL! I would love to have an edible yard but I don't think that everyone in the house would be as appreciative of it as I seem to be. But if I can get a protion of what we will eat grown in my yard that would be awesome. I need to get a pressure canner. I usually freeze everything but I have a sinking feeling that we are going to have a major power out here this year and I will loose my freezers. So what ever the reason it is time to start canning. Now mind you I helped my aunt can pickles a couple of years ago. That was pretty much my experience with canning. But my mom said she will help with tomatoes this year. And I have all the jars and lid / rings. So all I need is recipes and the pressure cooker. That way I will be able to can leftovers also. Like the chili that I made I could put it in jars and it would stay good for 1 year. I am seeing the possiblilities. LOL! I guess that is what happens when your a city girl with country girl aspirations.

Well I guess I have rambled long enough..... But it does feel good to be writing again.

I always hate trying to come up with things to say in these intro type things.. LOL!

I am a mom of 3 girls, I work part time for a solar company. I crochet, sew a little, garden when it is warm enough and I love to cook. I have 2 cats and 1 dog all of which were rescued. I adopted them because they are black and black animals are put down at an alarming rate due to what is called black dog syndrome. I know it sounds stupid but it is real. Sorry I love my babies and hate to think what could have happened had I not found them. :o)

I just recently joined spark people because I have some weight to loose so far I have lost 5 pounds..... I know its water weight but I will take what I can get.... LOL!

So I guess that's about it.
